Copperweld refers to the copper clad steel wire, the steel wire is wrapped around the copper layer of the composite conductor.
Production process: based on the copper wrapped to the steel wire in different ways, mainly divided into electroplating, cladding, hot casting / dipping and electric casting.
The Copperweld Cable of Henan Jiapu factory is basically used in the electroplating process, that is, the electrolytic battery principle of electroplating process will be a block of copper plate “dissolved” and then guided by the current to cover the steel wire.
Cladding is the copper tape wrapped steel wire, in the package of the interface with argon arc welding;
Hot casting/impregnation is where the copper is heated and melted into a liquid, the wire is passed through the liquid and then cooled and solidified;
Electroforming is a special application of electroplating, whereby reductive aggregation of copper is achieved in a cathode mould, this process is not yet common in the market.
