11kV medium voltage electric power cable with copper conductors, semi-conductive conductor screen, XLPE insulation, semi-conductive insulation screen, copper tape metallic screen, PVC bedding, Aluminium wire armour (AWA) and PVC outer sheath. The cable is suitable for Voltage Rating 6,6 up to 33kV, made to SANS or other National or International Standards

Application :

Cross linked XLPE insulation electric power cable not only has excellent electric and mechanical properties but also has powerful resistance against chemical corrosion, heat aging, and environmental stress.
Its structure is simple and can be used conveniently and also can be laid with no restriction of different levels.

Construction :

1 Core or 3 Core, circular Aluminium or Copper stranded conductor,
XLPE insulated,
Individually copper tape screened,
Armour – Aluminium Wire Armoured (AWA), Steel Wire Armoured (SWA)
Flame retardant / low halogen flame retardant PVC sheathed

Cable Identification:

MFRPVC (red stripe), LHFRPVC (blue stripe),
HFFR (white stripe), PE (no stripe).

Characteristics:

Voltage Rating: 3800/6600 Volts –SANS1339
Temperature limits: -15°C to +90°C
Should not be installed at temperatures below 0°C or above +60°C
